This refrigerator filter does far more than the carbon only filters. In combination with kdf, bacteria can't live in the carbon (which it otherwise can). Kdf filters also prevent scale buildup protecting your fridge. Also removes chlorine, sediment, algae, molds, bad taste, odors and hundreds of contaminants.
Filters up to 1,500 gallons of water. We recommend you replace the filter once a year.
Uses the great combination of the best quality copper-zinc kdf and granulated coconut shell carbon, for the best-of-all-worlds filtering. Carbon lasts for more time when combined with kdf, and the water is more natural with trace elements remaining in your drinking water. Change once a year.
