This is the 5-micron sediment filter cartridge filters. The standard is the 25-micron. This one is for finer particulate filtration UC-2K or CT-2K water filter units, or a 3-canister unit including an extra sediment filter, like the undercounter or countertop 3 canister Fluoride or 3 canister Nitrate (NOT for the 2-canister fluoride plus systems.)

Most people report strong water flow with this filter, but depending on your circumstances it could slow the water flow a bit.
